This position is primarily remote, but location-based requirements may apply. If the selected candidate is located near one of our company offices, the candidate will have a hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days in-office).
As a QA engineering manager, your job responsibilities will be:
- Work with a team of QA engineers to maintain the quality, performance, and reliability of the database engine
- Experience working on testing distributed database system or distributed system
- Experience working on testing DB as a service product
- Build and own efficient tooling and automation testing pipeline
- Driving projects and initiatives to improve the quality of the database
- Work with development teams to design and implement testing and testing automation for new features
- Establish conventions, best practices, and processes for the team to continuously improve on quality gates
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BS or MS or PHD in Computer Science
- 3+ years of software engineering management experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience designing and building distributed systems testing

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Redwood City, CA is $190,000 - $210,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. TigerGraph is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
