Responsibility: ● Own end-to-end availability and performance of our TigerGraph Cloud ● Relentlessly automate manual processes to prevent problem recurrence; automate response to all non-exceptional service conditions. ● Lead by example, mentor the team and establish credibility through quality technical execution. ● Manage on-call rotations across continents, using a follow-the-sun model. ● Design, write and deliver monitoring, alerting and escalating to improve the availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of TigerGraph’s cloud services;
Requirements ● BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field; ● 3+ years experience on leading and managing an SRE team in cloud environment; ● 8+ years site reliability engineering working experience; ● Proficient with at least one of the following languages: Go, Java, Python; ● Proficient with one IaC domain language: Terraform or its equivalents ● Experience or familiarity with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform. ● Familiarity with cloud operations, experience or ability to respond to operational issues. ● A self-starter multi-functional technical teams and decision makers. ● Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers;
Bonus Points ● Good understanding on cloud networking and security;. ● Familiarity with containerization technology such as Docker or Kubernetes. ● Basic understanding and experience on compliance (such as SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and HIPAA);
