The Tier Maintenance and Reliability Engineering team is the "F1 Pit Crew" of the e-microbility world and arguably the most intelligent team in Tier - comprised of passionate and fast thinking engineers, mechanics and technicians. The team plays a highly significant and hands-on role to ensure that all Tier vehicles are safe and reliable for everyone to enjoy a fun and sustainable ride! And yes, we have a cool uniform.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct equipment and vehicles testing, fault diagnosis and repairs using test equipment or software, to aid failure analysis and understanding and drive improvement initiatives
  • Provide hands-on, technical electrical/electronics support services to the MRE Project Managers and Reliability engineers
  • Collaborate with engineers, M&R managers and mechanics on electrical/electronic issues
  • Assist with the research, development, testing and approval of new electrical/electronic/software tools or modify existing tooling to improve the warehouse repair processes of Tier’s vehicles
  • Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications to provide technical input/support for the creation of engineering SOPs to ensure consistent, quality and safe working practices in the Tier warehouses
  • Provide technical training on electrical/electronic tools and SOPs
  • Provide technical support and input to aid new vehicle development

Qualifications and Experience

  • Apprenticeship or certificate/qualification in Electrical/Electronics engineering systems, or Electronic Engineering - degree is not mandatory
  • 1 - 2 Years experience repairing, maintaining, testing or developing equipment in an electrical/electronic/electromechanical environment
  • Familiar with MS Office / G-Suite (Word, Sheets etc.)
  • You are able to work in a high-pressure environment with competing demands, adapt to changing priorities and process continuously changing information
  • Your communication skills are excellent (written and verbal) in English
