TIER is changing mobility for good, and we have a powerful story to tell. As a Bid Specialist, you will take a lead role in articulating the value we bring to our customers and communities through the creation of persuasive and compelling narratives. This is a highly networked role that provides an opportunity to blend original thinking with exceptional attention to detail in order to deliver concise content that is compliant with our clients requirements.


  • Support the Bid Manager in producing a fully compliant and winning written response to the request for proposal
  • Write, edit and proofread high-quality content for proposals, in response to formal requests from public and private sector customers, seeking and consolidating contributions from cross-functional teams of subject matter experts
  • Deliver completed content to the Bid Manager to agreed deadlines and scope
  • Conduct research to support proposal win strategies, themes and key decision meetings, as directed by the Bid Manager
  • Ensure proposal narratives have a consistent approach, voice and style
  • Define and manage the Proposal Plan, i.e. full table of contents for the submission, including financial, technical and commercial documents
  • Ensure all mandatory supporting tender documentation (certifications, insurances, legal, etc.) is assembled for RfI/RfP submission
  • Provide pre-fill, editing, formatting, branding and proof-reading services for the entire proposal


  • Excellent written Spanish Language skills are essential, in addition to fluency in English. An extra Southern European language will be a plus
  • Desire to work in and contribute to a virtual team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong commitment to corporate quality standards
  • Creative thinking, problem solving skills, and detail-oriented
  • Experience and/or interest in the Spanish public sector is desirable
  • Show initiative and proactivity and be flexible working in a changing environment with high stress and tight deadlines
  • Commercial awareness, experience in pre-sales and in proposals management would be a plus
  • High Interest in writing winning proposals in response to formal requests for proposals/bids/tenders for the public sector
  • Experience and an interest in research, international affairs, politics, and mobility is desired
