We’re looking for an experienced manager with a track record of driving operational improvement initiatives. You should be a team player who is able to coordinate local and central teams to achieve a common objective, and you should be comfortable travelling throughout our operating regions - we expect this role to be 40-60% based in region

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ops improvement: Partner with local ops teams to identify improvement initiatives; provide project-based analytical support including the use of Looker, Excel, Tableau, and other analytical tools
  • Experiments: Project manage cross-market/cross-region experiments, leveraging central & local teams
  • Product & process roll-out: Assist central teams in rolling out & setting up ops processes for new products
  • Documentation & best-practice sharing: Playbook best practices from markets and regions and share them with other regions



  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a top-tier university or business school
  • 3-5 years’ experience in accounting, banking, consulting, or in a startup/entrepreneurial role
  • Prior experience in the mobility, transport, or logistics industry is desirable (e.g. Uber, Deliveroo)
  • In-depth knowledge of data tools & visualizers (e.g. Excel/Google Sheets, Looker, Tableau, Kepler); SQL is a plus
  • Organized and structured mentality; comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment



The Market Operations team sits between TIER’s HQ and our local operational teams, ensuring that our decentralized organization spread across 100+ cities in Europe is aligned and working towards the same KPIs whether they are in Berlin or Bordeaux, Stockholm or St. Gallen.

We’re at the forefront of driving operational improvements throughout the business, optimizing the use of our industry-leading technology and tools to solve problems such as deciding what the right number of scooters in each city is, ensuring they’re in the right places at the right time to serve our customers, and understanding the most optimal mix of vehicles and micro-warehouses to achieve that as efficiently as possible.
