THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER

  • Build and maintain partnership with one or more functional teams (e.g., public policy, marketing, market development, operations), taking ownership of ensuring their research needs are understood and addressed.
  • Take a hands-on approach to planning, designing, running, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative research studies, often using internal resources to reach users and partnering with external agencies to reach broader populations.
  • Create communications that go beyond descriptive summaries, identifying patterns in primary and secondary data - sometimes from multiple studies - to develop insights that drive customer-centric decision making.
  • Closely collaborate with and share expertise with other researchers, helping peers build skills by learning from your partnership and knowledge.

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in Market Research, Marketing Research, Behavioural Research, Policy Research, Customer Insights or a related field.
  • Degree in Market Research, Psychology, Data Science, Statistics, Business or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in quantitative research methodologies (e.g., survey sampling and design, significance testing, regression modelling, experimental design, behavioural data analysis).
  • Experience using experimental approaches to understand and measure the impact of policies and initiatives on consumer behavior.
  • Experience in qualitative research methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience in data manipulation and analysis using statistical tools (e.g. SPSS).
  • Experience in research for marketing, public policy, market development, growth, and/or operations teams.

GET AN IMPRESSION OF THE TEAM

  • As a member of the Research & Insights team at TIER, you will work with User Researchers and Customer Insights Researchers to help the organisation learn and make data-driven decisions about products, features, vehicles and future business lines. The team is a diverse and open group of qualitative and quantitative researchers, giving user needs a voice and exploring the impact of the rapidly changing landscape of urban mobility on people. Our team is working highly cross-functional with various departments, giving you the opportunity to contribute and grow your research method expertise in many fields and research topics. Working with TIER's R&I Team, you will have the opportunity to research and predict behaviour patterns as they emerge - in a field of mobility where the rules are not yet written.
