About the team: 

The Tide Partnerships Team is an exciting and vital channel within Tide's overall marketing mix, helping to acquire new Tide members, through the formation of strategic partnerships.

As part of Tide's expansion into Germany, the Tide partnerships team is looking for a strategic, innovative and commercially minded Senior Partnership’s Manager to join our high performing partnerships team and to support our new market entry. 

 

About the role: 

As a Senior Partnerships Manager, it will be your job to support the execution of our ‘go-to-market’ strategy and contribute towards securing new business deals with partners up to bluechip/ Cx level status. This is only the beginning as we intend to develop the German partnerships channel into a significant pillar of member acquisition for Tide Germany’s marketing channel mix. 

 

With this new market expansion, you will thrive working in a complex and diverse cross functional work environment and based on Tides' success in developing a high performing partnerships channel in the UK, you will implement and tailor this success & blueprint when rolling out into the German market. 

You’ll be entrepreneurial and someone who is familiar with the dynamics of digital business operations, solution based sales, commercial strategy and marketing. A unique role, you’ll be able to bring the vision to life whilst championing the Tide value proposition across Germany. As a Senior Partnerships Manager you’ll:

 

  • Work in collaboration with the Partnerships Lead & Head of Partnerships
  • Own the day to day execution & refinement of the new business strategy for Germany & help to achieve Tides partner acquisition targets
  • Assess opportunities, understand behavior, test hypotheses with data analysis to drive tangible results
  • Be an advocate, champion & face for the Tide mission, vision, strategy and Partner Program
  • Establish and develop relationships with partners across multiple industry verticals throughout Germany
  • End to end management of the partnerships sales lead generation, lead management and onboarding including commercial negotiation and contract execution 
  • Management of the operational and commercial relationships with new partnerships and providing exemplary partner profiling and CRM data management
  • Report to key stakeholders and provide business updates on the performance of the German partnership onboarding and performance outcomes



What we are looking for: 

Tide is seeking an ambitious and visionary Senior Partnerships Manager, the ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate about small business success 
  • Have spent at least three years at a business with a partnership and solution based sales model
  • Have had previous experience within the payments or Fintech sectors 
  • Have acquired scalable partnerships in a fast-growing product-focused company
  • Be passionate about referral based, deal-making businesses and have experience of operating, managing and defining risk and governance of sales pipelines within a B2B environment
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to identify, prioritise and manage your own workload in close alignment to Tides strategy and performance metrics
  • Be a champion for innovation; challenging the status quo and having a solution-focused approach
  • Be organised, pragmatic and capable of being part of a commercial interdisciplinary team; we’re after someone who’s not afraid to get hands-on and remove any blockers that might be on the critical path to commercial success
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch

  • Have experience of expanding and launching new products into new territories
  • Have prior experience and strong understanding of the German business banking and/ or SME space 
  • Be passionate about working within a team and influencing change at every stage
