What we're looking for:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead People Partner to join our rapidly growing team at Tide. As a strategic leader, you will empower and guide our global People Partnering team supporting the Member Operations functions for the UK/European market, fostering a culture that emphasises employee wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion. You will have a keen eye on HR practices and local labour laws, you will work closely with the Director of People Partnering to implement company-wide initiatives and provide expert advice on local policies and employee relation cases. Your role will be pivotal in managing the unique people needs in your function, fostering alignment and collaboration across all global teams.

 As a Lead People Partner, you’ll be: 

  • Acting as a strategic partner and advisor to leaders and managers, providing support, coaching, and guidance on HR policies, practices, procedures, performance management and employee relation matters
  • Coaching our People Partnering team for Member Operations for the UK/Europe market, fostering their professional growth through knowledge sharing, best practices, and by cultivating a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with local labour laws, managing cross-border transfers, and adapting HR policies and programs to fit local cultural contexts
  • Handling complex employee relations issues for your region and business units, including sensitive matters that may have a significant impact on the business
  • Using data to support everyday people partnering decisions and present data insights to senior stakeholders
  • Partnering with leaders and managers to improve employee engagement and satisfaction including analysing survey results and implementing action plans to address areas of concern
  • Developing plans for talent development and retention through workforce planning, performance management, and career development
  • Advising leaders on the organisational design and succession planning for their teams
  • Influencing change management by equipping leaders with effective people management tools
  • Serving as an ambassador for all DEI initiatives ensuring diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of all discussions, especially those related to performance, engagement, retention, career development
  • Upholding and promoting the values of Tide in all interactions and decisions

What makes you a great fit: 

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in a leadership role within a high-growth, global tech company.
  • Experience scaling and developing a team of people partners in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proven track record in strategic HR management, with a focus on people partnering and organisational development.
  • Strong client focus with outstanding judgement, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing and developing remote and distributed teams.
  • Good understanding of global HR practices and employment laws, excellent understanding of Indian HR practices and employment laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a positive organisational culture.
