Salesforce QA Specialist (Remote)
Location: Remote (WFH) - Manila, Philippines Metro Area (with availability during US time zones)
Job Summary:
Exciting news - Thunder is expanding, and we’re looking for future trailblazers in the Philippines! We are in search of a dedicated Salesforce QA Specialist who possesses a blend of technical expertise in Salesforce and a keen eye for quality assurance. This role involves ensuring the integrity, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications through rigorous testing and QA methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Salesforce environments, with knowledge of one or more Salesforce Cloud areas (Sales, Service, Marketing, Revenue/CPQ) and a proven track record in delivering high-quality Salesforce projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for Salesforce applications.
- Work closely with Salesforce Developers and Administrators to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, performance, and security of Salesforce applications.
- Manage QA environments, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in QA testing within Salesforce environments.
- Familiarity with one or more Salesforce Cloud areas (Sales, Service, Marketing, Revenue/CPQ).
- At minimum, one active Salesforce Certification, preferably Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality and best practices.
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours to align with US time zones as required by project work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluency in English.
