THUNDER | JOB DESCRIPTION

Salesforce Recruiter - Thunder Philippines

Location: Remote (WFH) - Manila, Philippines Metro Area (with availability during US time zones)

Calling All Recruitment Rockstars in the Philippines!

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our team, with a primary focus on identifying and attracting top Salesforce talent to meet Thunder’s growing talent needs.

As a 4-year old company, and with Thunder Philippines just launching in February 2024, we are very much in “startup mode,” and our resource priorities can change rapidly - so agility and being ready to flex is key! We’ve hired >40 new “Thundercats” for Thunder Philippines this Fiscal year so far (with a super lean talent team of 2!) - and we’re looking to *YOU* to expand our capacity to attract and onboard our next class of teammates as we continue to scale!

In this role, you will focus on proactively sourcing and engaging with Salesforce professionals. You'll use creative sourcing techniques and various channels, including online platforms, social media, networking events, and referrals. Working closely with Thunder’s Talent team and Resource Managers/Delivery Heads, you'll help understand and execute our hiring plans, developing effective strategies to attract top talent and support our continued growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • While there’s no “average” day in the life of a Recruiter, your days will likely include the following:
    • 3-4 hours of deep candidate sourcing
    • Calibration on top profiles with Talent + Hiring Team (via Slack)
    • 2-4 candidate screens (via Google Meet)
    • Recruiting kickoff meetings or syncs with various hiring teams
    • Scheduling/rescheduling Interviews
    • Maintaining constant, genuine communication with candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent team to determine staffing needs and develop custom sourcing strategies
  • Source creatively from a diverse set of channels, including online platforms, social media, networking events, and referrals to identify and engage with potential candidates
  • Conduct in-depth candidate screenings and assessments to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
  • Provide timely and detailed reports on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and recruitment metrics to Thunder Talent stakeholders + leadership
  • Maintain and update candidate database/applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) with accurate and timely information
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
  • Develop and foster relationships with candidates, universities, industry professionals, and other relevant networks to expand the talent pool
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new sourcing techniques to continuously improve recruitment strategies
  • Creatively partner with Talent and People Ops Team to continuously improve Recruiting, Interview and Onboarding Processes, bringing fresh ideas as we continue to grow
  • Success looks like “turning over every available rock” to find rare talent, then effectively assessing candidates' qualifications and suitability for specific roles to ensure a strong, diverse pipeline of candidates who meet Thunder’s resource needs

Additionally, you’ll help shape our Talent Team’s vision and focus on these strategic initiatives:

  • Candidate Experience: helping set our SLAs for where can we improve, and creating templates/automations when necessary to maintain candidate pipeline
  • Interview Process: keeping a gauge on what is or isn’t working, while creating Interview questions and working closely with Hiring Managers and current employees in those roles to make sure we’re vetting the right things
  • Employer Branding + Recruitment Marketing: how we tell our “Thunder” story, and broaden our recruiting reach
  • Diversity, Inclusion and Equity: how can we improve our “soup to nuts” talent process to better support and embrace DEI initiatives?
  • Interviewer Training for Thunder teammates who want to participate in our Interview process
  • Teammate Onboarding: setting up our new teammates for success
  • Innovative Tools to Demo and Consider for our Talent Tech Stack
  • Culture-Building Opportunities
  • Campus + Community Recruiting: attend and participate in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events
  • Advance our Talent team’s comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits, pay administration, and other related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations (including coming legislation that could affect our recruiting/talent ops strategy)
  • Ongoing Continuous Improvement and Recommendations to Automations, Process, and Workflows in Greenhouse, our Applicant Tracking Systems

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Basic familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and compliance standards and a desire to stay abreast of changing legislation that impacts recruiting and interview process
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-2 years’ proven experience as a Recruiter or similar Talent Acquisition role, with a track record of successfully filling positions with qualified IT candidates
  • 1-2 years’ of technical sourcing/recruiting experience within the Salesforce ecosystem (at Salesforce Corporate or with a Salesforce Consulting Partner) strongly preferred
  • Strong track record of regularly hiring for 5-10(+) positions at any given time, while managing ~40+ concurrent candidate relationships
  • Advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques and best practices, including X-Ray and Boolean Search
  • Highly proficient in sourcing tools and talent platforms such as LinkedIn, specialized job boards, and applicant tracking systems - experience with innovative AI tools would be an advantage
  • Effectively engages and builds trust in relationships with candidates and stakeholders
  • Prioritizes accuracy and detail in documentation (of interview notes, kickoff meetings, Greenhouse pipeline, etc.) - but can move quickly as necessary
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities, with a passion for learning new roles quickly
  • Proactive lens with an ability to openly provide communication to Talent team in an effort to improve efficiency in current and future processes
