About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced highly technical marketer to define and lead the marketing vision and roadmap for our CRM capabilities. This role will oversee both internal and third-party tools that drive promotional and transactional content across email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app channels. As Marketing’s main point of contact with our MarTech teams, you’ll be responsible for identifying and prioritizing product requirements, ensuring that resources are focused on solving the most critical business challenges. You will also own product and feature adoption, developing processes, training, and documentation so that CRM teams are able to unlock the full potential of our CRM capabilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the CRM vision and roadmap for our CRM capabilities enabling teams to efficiently and effectively deliver best-in-class CRM campaigns across all owned channels, including email, push, SMS, and in-app.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams to identify opportunities, build business cases, and implement solutions that will improve the customer experience, drive operational efficiency, and support CRM initiatives
- Serve as a technical leader and resource for CRM, working with Marketing Leads to develop, prioritize, and manage Product & Engineering requests.
- Own product and feature adoption, developing processes, training, and documentation so that the CRM Operations team is able to unlock the full potential of our CRM capabilities.
- Improve internal tools, processes, and safeguards to ensure our customers consistently receive personalized, relevant, and high-quality content from Thumbtack.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership for topics related to our CRM capabilities, providing insights and recommendations to support evolving goals and business needs.
To Be Successful, You Must Bring
- 8+ years in Marketing, Product, or CRM roles with expertise in CRM tools, Marketing Tech, and integrating enterprise-level systems (APIs, JSON, ETLs).
- Strong understanding of marketing channels and expertise in Marketing Operations and MarTech.
- Track record of developing a vision for building for scale (automation, personalization, data integrity, etc.); process and systems-oriented.
- Strong ability to identify opportunities, prioritize and develop roadmaps.
- Able to build relationships and work well across teams; will partner heavily with MarTech channel owners (Technical Product Managers, Engineering, Data Science and Applied Science) to develop plans and execute them.
- Strong leadership skills with the confidence to lead a team (direct and indirects).
- Experience coaching and developing high-performing individuals.
- Willingness to work from 2 AM - 11 AM PH time.
