About the Product & Integrated Marketing Team

Product & Integrated Marketing is responsible for the product launches, campaigns, partnerships and programs that both attract homeowners and professionals to Thumbtack and provide the great experiences that keep them with us. To do this, we work collaboratively with other marketers and partners across Thumbtack to ensure successful launches and create a consistent narrative about our product and the benefits it offers.

About the Role

Thumbtack has always offered the best way for homeowners to find and hire local professionals. Now we want to deepen our relationship with homeowners to become the go-to partner helping them fully manage their homes. We’re looking for an experienced product marketer to help launch and scale the new products and features needed to deliver on that promise. You’ll work to understand our homeowners and their homes, help guide new product development, build compelling narratives that attract and engage homeowners, all while supporting local businesses by growing demand for their services.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering across marketing, product, support, sales, success and operations on integrated marketing initiatives
  • Leading core analytics and research projects that inform product and marketing roadmaps, synthesizing learnings into actionable insights
  • Owning product and feature positioning, messaging, channel strategy, and creative execution for new launches
  • Developing and executing go-to-market plans for major marketing campaigns
  • Measuring impact post-launch and keeping stakeholders informed of progress toward team and company goals.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6-8+ years of consumer marketing experience, preferably in a product marketing role at a technology-driven company
  • Demonstrated cross-functional teamwork and project management experience, including executing complex projects with outstanding results
  • Experience conducting, synthesizing and sharing user research
  • Data-driven with a strong understanding of business drivers and a knack for using analytics to identify new opportunities and optimizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience working in a home-related industry
  • MBA degree

Thumbtack is a virtual-first company, meaning you can live and work from any one of our approved locations across the United States, Ontario or the Philippines*. When it is safe to gather, we will begin to host in-person events on a regular basis. Remote employees will be expected to travel occasionally for these events to a Thumbtack library or offsite team-building location. In cities with 5+ employees, we are establishing local communities, where employees can gather for local events. Additionally, employees in the San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Toronto and Manila areas will have opt-in access to communal workspace at one of our Thumbtack libraries. We always prioritize the health and safety of our employees. Currently, participation in these events and Thumbtack library use are optional. Both require employees to be fully vaccinated.
