Position Description:
Talent Acquisition is a strategic function that enables Thumbtack’s growth, shapes the company culture, and identifies the talent we need to be successful. As the Recruiting Manager, Philippines you will report to the Global Director of Recruiting. You will also partner with key leaders to design and execute hiring strategies that support all recruiting in the Philippines. This key role will mentor, manage and grow a team of Recruiters, Sourcers, and Recruiting Coordinators responsible for building high performance teams as Thumbtack Philippines continues to scale.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the Global Director of Recruiting, Leadership, and Hiring Managers to drive comprehensive recruiting strategies.
- Build strategies and best practices to source, attract, assess and hire qualified candidates across the business.
- Create and foster an environment that enables a high performing recruiting team to thrive.
- Manage day-to-day activities and ensure a high level of operational efficiency
- Meet and exceed hiring targets (headcount and timeline) by applying operational aspects and pipeline strategies.
- Optimize the hiring process effectively and efficiently from initial intake of job requirements through to presenting contract offers, and helping facilitate the pre-ONB process.
- Provide data and experience driven recruiting insights and guidance to hiring managers and stakeholders
- Provide timely and consistent hiring progress updates and feedback to senior managers, hiring managers, PBP and other stakeholders
- Support direct report activities such as screening, interviewing and providing stellar recruiting experience.
- Partner with our DE&I team to take diversity recruiting to the next level.
- Assist the hiring team in coming up with an objective hiring decision through the different assessment methods we’ve put in place as part of our standard hiring process.
- Work with the HRBP to maintain up to date hiring plans, job descriptions, trackers and other documentation related to recruiting.
- Maintain and report out accurate metrics capturing the recruitment cycle.
- Manage or delegate resources for projects of the recruitment team

Qualifications & Educational Background:
- 7-10 years of professional experience in recruitment/talent acquisition, with a strong understanding of tech, shared services, outsourcing or similar industries
- 5+ years experience of managing a team or leading a recruitment department is preferred
- Able to collaborate and influence stakeholders
- Strong analysis skills and project management experience
- No specific educational requirement but college degree preferred
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with tools typically used in the recruitment process including ATS and HRIS
- Proficiency using recruitment platforms for sourcing
- Proficiency using assessment tools to screen for skills and fit
