About the Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Home Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions spanning both backend and frontend technologies. With a focus on AWS cloud services, Elixir/Phoenix, PostgreSQL, and UI development, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly applications. Your Day-to-Day

  • Lead the development of full-stack software solutions leveraging AWS cloud services, Elixir/Phoenix, PostgreSQL, and UI frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both backend and frontend components using industry best practices.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components and interfaces.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks across the full technology stack.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack software development, with expertise in AWS,GCP or DigitalOcean cloud services, Elixir, Phoenix, PostgreSQL, and UI development.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
  • Experience designing and developing applications using Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
  • Deep understanding of PostgreSQL database architecture, optimization, and query tuning.
  • Proficiency in UI development with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership is a plus.
