The Role Thrasio is looking for a talented, smart, and enthusiastic inventory control specialist for our brands. This person will be in charge of the counting and integrity of inventory across our warehouses and third-party logistics (3PLs) across the US. The role will work closely with our Finance, Supply Chain and Acquisitions teams to ensure inventory verification across our multiple inventory locations. This role reports to the CFO with extensive collaboration with the SVP, Supply Chain & Logistics. Other responsibilities include:
Conduct inventory counting for newly acquired brands
Perform inventory cycle counts and year end physical count
Verify the products integrity, sell-ability, packaging and expiry dates of the quantities claimed in the inventory reports of newly acquired brands
Travel up to 75% required, sometimes upon short notice
What You Bring to the Party
Associates Degree in business management related area of study or equivalent experience
2+ years of operations experience preferably in a military, industrial, manufacturing or FMCG environment
Self-starter with excellent analytical, organization and multitasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Inventory knowledge preferred
Adequate computer skills (Outlook, Excel and Word) required
