We are looking for a Member to join our Payroll Team. If you are a self-starter with a great attitude, ready to roll up your sleeves, and is excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact in a fast-growing company – this opportunity is for you!

As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will ensure accurate processing of company’s semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for 300+ employees working in 20 US States and 9 Foreign countries, handle daily data entry, prepare payroll cycle for closing and quarter/year end. As a systems expert, you will be generating and working with reports, setting up and mapping codes in systems to ensure wages & taxes are processed correctly. As a customer service hero, you will be the first point of contact for internal and external customers. You will be working hand in hand with the Head of Global Payroll on projects related to implementation of new systems and improvement of processes to help grow and scale our business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, cycle closing, and quarter/year end payroll department activities
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Calculate and process full cycle, pro-rated, and manual payments, bonuses, commissions, stock compensations. Handle other payroll related calculations including garnishments, tax corrections, and adjustments
  • Perform cycle, quarter/year end closing audits, complete reconciliation and validate transactions before transmission. Prepare files for next level review and approval
  • Prepare and process off-cycle payrolls
  • Process and reconcile vendor reports to ensure deductions processed from employees’ pay checks are corresponding with vendor records; handle vendor imports/exports
  • Understand proper taxation of employee and employer payments in US and Foreign countries; handle jurisdiction registration and account inactivation
  • Understand systems and be able to map earning/deduction/memo/accumulator codes for payroll and accounting processing
  • Prepare payroll journal entries for upload and perform reconciliation of payroll related balance sheet accounts
  • Partner with employees and managers to ensure timecards are accurate and approved in a timely manner
  • Partner with internal teams and be a vendor liaison: ensure all reports are received by Payroll on time for processing
  • Efficiently handle employee questions and vendor inquiries, escalate to the Head of Global Payroll when necessary
  • Responsible for recurrent reports are prepared, validated and delivered to internal and external partners timely
  • Assist in periodic system and data audits and develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting upon request. Maintain payroll records and files
  • Participate in process improvement and system implementation projects
  • Perform other duties and assignments upon request

Your Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent 
  • Minimum five years of experience in payroll processing: US multi-state payroll processing experience is required, global payroll processing experience is a plus
  • CPP/FPC payroll certification is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now platform is required, other payroll/HRIS systems knowledge is a plus
  • Proficient Excel User (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical approach: accuracy is a key
  • Easy and eager system learner
  • Have a strong desire to learn and thrive in a dynamic and changing environment, experienced working across the company with teams of varied sizes and from different fields
  • Able to handle shifting priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-faced work environment, be organized
  • A self-starter with good work ethic
