What We Are Looking For
As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will build the foundation for all planning processes and analytics related to sales and gross margin. You will play a key role in optimizing the cost drivers and identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost-savings that will shape ThirdLove’s growth and profitability. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders in developing and monitoring budgets/forecasts, as well as provide analytical support to drive decision making.

What You Will Own And How You Will Make A Difference
1.Budget, Latest Estimate, & Forecast
- Develop budget and own the reforecast process with cross-functional stakeholders
- Manage communication with key stakeholders to align on company initiatives and to ensure budgets/forecasts are in line with overall business goals and objectives
- Monitor actuals compared to budgets/forecasts, perform variance analysis, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Prepare monthly management reports for senior management and present key findings, risks, and opportunities
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize and improve budgeting/forecasting processes and reporting
2.Operational KPI Analysis
- Identify and monitor operational KPIs for key businesses; identify risks and opportunities to optimize
- Prepare KPI reporting for senior management and key department leaders
- Align communication on key KPIs across organization
3.Regular and Ad Hoc Analysis & Reporting
- Lead regular business reviews with key department leaders and communicate financial results, key trends and insights, and assess current and future business risks and opportunities
- Develop and present meaningful financial reporting and KPIs that will directly influence day-to-day operational decisions
- Provide analytical support to cross-functional teams to drive decision making on initiatives and strategies
4.Financial Modeling and Analysis
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios, including scenario planning across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, financial ratio analysis, ROI and cost/benefit analysis for investment opportunities, and sensitivity analysis
- Evaluate new business opportunities through unit economics and margin analysis
5.Month-End Close Support
- Collaborate closely with Accounting on month-end close processes, including accrual and accounting estimates input/review
- Review financial statement accuracy and identify/analyze key variances to budget/forecast
6.Investor Relations & Board Plan Support
- Create supporting financial materials for investor relations and board decks
- Various other tasks and duties as assigned or needed
You Have
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in prior analytical roles (i.e. finance, investment banking, consulting etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related analytical field is required
- Advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint; experience with NetSuite and Looker is preferred
- Highly analytical, with strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex financial information into actionable and impactful recommendations
- Strong business acumen with ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and independently partner with key stakeholders to implement solutions
- Effective communicator with ability to communicate with all levels of organization and present to senior management
- Self-starter and team player who can work both independently and collaboratively with others cross-functionally
- Curious and innovative individual with a positive attitude and hands-on mentality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment; ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Related industry experience in ecommerce or retail is preferred

Compensation
Annual base salary range of 95-105K
