We are seeking a Client Onboarding Analyst to join our rapidly growing workforce in London. The role will focus on the provision of client onboarding services to the business in line with governing KYC and AML policies. As the Client Onboarding Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that all KYC cases are being completed to the highest standard in line with regulatory policies across the department and region. You will be supporting our Compliance, Customer & Trading Services, and Sales departments in provision of client due diligence and daily transaction monitoring, where required.


  • Process, verify, and manage status of all client applications
  • Conduct electronic checks including PEP and sanction checks
  • Liaise with clients and client-facing teams as necessary to ensure a clear understanding of requirements
  • Address all internal and external inquiries relating to client onboarding
  • Identify and monitor possible Politically Exposed Persons or Sanctioned individuals for KYC and risk purposes
  • Proactively engage with client-facing departments to inform on client onboarding, policy, process, and procedure changes
  • Ensure all client communications and records are accurate and up to date
  • Produce reports and Management Information (MI) for company leadership
  • Ensure adherence to department’s SLAs
  • Conduct account maintenance activities including annual reviews and client data refresh


  • Experience in AML & KYC functions in financial services institutions
  • Experience using digital technologies for managing financial crime risk
  • Previous experience of end-to-end AML / KYC processes which include Onboarding, transaction monitoring, client screening and ability to work under regulatory environment
  • Understanding of Financial Crime prevention and Know Your Customer requirements with a unique and innovative approach
  • Understanding of regulatory environment, including applicable regulations in different scenarios, best practices in implementation of regulatory ready processes, available tools, technologies
  • Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English and additional language will be advantageous
