The Field Marketing Manager - West is responsible for planning, organizing and executing field marketing events and activities to generate new business opportunities and accelerate existing opportunities for the sales team. Working closely with the Region Vice Presidents of Sales, Inside Sales Representatives, Technology Partners, and the broader Marketing team, this position will lead and execute regional field events, programs and campaigns as well as drive the follow up and analysis to ensure high marketing impact and improvement.  

 

This position will serve as the primary liaison between the Fuze North America sales teams in the west and the marketing team. This role, reporting to the VP of Worldwide Demand Generation, is responsible for creating demand using a variety of marketing vehicles and tactics including, but not limited to, targeted field events, regional tradeshows, conferences and professional associations. This position will work closely with the marketing ops/digital team to maximize our digital and direct marketing coverage of your territory and to leverage marketing tools to assist in the execution of and reporting on your campaigns. Your primary objectives are to introduce net new sales opportunities and assist sales to accelerate prospects through the sales cycle, as well as to ensure thorough coverage and penetration of the region’s target accounts by leveraging various marketing distribution channels.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Primary liaison between West Field Sales, Marketing teams and regional Technology Partners
  • Plan, create and execute all field marketing activities for the western region and report results
  • Communicate feedback from the Field to the broader Marketing team to ensure the Field has the tools and messaging they need to sell effectively
  • Create a rolling, six month plan for the regional sales teams
  • Communicate marketing initiatives, ongoing campaigns, available tools, customer success stories, upcoming events, etc. to the regional sales team
  • Establish a rhythm for field marketing planning and communication between Sales and Marketing for the western region
  • Report to sales leadership regarding levels of penetration of target accounts and sourced and influenced pipeline against established KPIs
  • Share best-practices across the regions
  • Ability to guide Sales on the use of our mar-tech tools, or identify/evaluate new tools for Sales success
  • Collaborate with the broader Partner Team to support local partner programs
  • Travel up to 30%

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years Field Marketing/Sales Support experience
  • Proven experience working with enterprise & channel sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and new business; actual sales experience a plus
  • Track record of B2B marketing experience at a technology company developing marketing campaigns in a contemporary demand-gen methodology
  • Strong and dynamic communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and defend plans for strategic analysis, recommendations, and conclusions
  • Oversee from inception to completion campaign plans including audience target identification, campaign project plans/deliverables/owners, budgeting, pre and post-campaign reporting/measurement
  • Initiative, a sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, and a "can do" attitude
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for enabling effective Sales Teams
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Enthusiasm for challenges and strong work ethic
  • Budget Management Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
