Math Competition Coach:
Think Academy is actively looking for Math Competition Coach who have a strong math competition background and are passionate about delivering teaching/teaching services to middle school students who has strong math background and looking to advanced more in math competition track, such as AMC 8/ AMC 10 & AIME.

Applicants join us from different backgrounds with no prior teaching-related experience required but need to have strong math background and competition experience preferred. OPT/CPT is sponsored for this position to the suitable candidate

Job Responsibilities:

Mathematics Teaching - Engaged in the full cycle Math Competition teaching/teaching services for middle school students

Teach math competitions like AMC8, AMC10/12, Math Olympiad in a virtual classroom setting via Think teaching platform (live class)
Develop, execute and reiterate classes that reflect Think's curriculum and teaching methods to maximize the students' learning outcome
Exercise open and respectful communication with students, parents and colleagues to create and maintain interactive Think communities
Attend the internal teacher training program at Think to prepare and advance yourself as a professional educator
Work with world-class curriculum design and teacher management teams to advance teaching-related services

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience in participating/coaching National/International Math Competitions is required
Teaching experience in AMC 8, AMC 10/12, and other Math Competition is preferred
Bachelor’s degree or above (open to all majors), Education, or STEM-related majors are preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English
A quick learner who can adapt to a new environment with a growth mindset
Willing to join the entrepreneurial team and explore how to build an organization from the ground-up
Bilingual in Mandarin is a big plus, but not required
