Your Role:

Think Academy U.S. is looking for Part-time Onsite Math Content Teacher at our Seattle (Bellevue) campus. Content Teachers are expected to understand math concepts, prepare classes based on Think Academy's curriculum, deliver engaging and age-appropriate math lessons, explain concepts, demonstrate problem-solving techniques, and use various teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. 

 As a Part-Time Math Content Teacher, your responsibilities include:  

       Mathematics Teaching - Engagement in full cycle Math teaching services for Lower Elementary school students

  • Teach elementary-level mathematics to middle school students
  • Actively engage and manage a classroom of up to 16 students
  • Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum and teaching guidance
  • Grade homework and provide other essential teaching-related services
  • Communicate effectively with students and parents, offering timely and personalized feedback
  • Typically work 15-20 hours per week, primarily during weekends or weekday afternoons

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above; all majors are welcome. Education or STEM-related majors are preferred
    • Candidates who are pursuing or in progress of obtaining a Bachelor's degree are eligible to apply
  • Prior math teaching or public school teaching experience is not required but preferred
  • Extremely passionate about teaching and the education industry, with a mission to provide better education to promote social development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly responsible and enjoy working with children
  • Able to commit to teaching for at least one whole semester without interruption (Spring semester: Jan - May; Summer: June - Aug; Fall semester: Aug - Dec)
  • Must be available to teach weekday afternoons and weekends
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Pay Range:

  • $50 - $90/lesson (depends on class difficulty and length)
  • Teachers may also be eligible for a performance-based bonus and teaching allowance
