Job brief:

We are seeking a senior, entrepreneurial, and experienced Programmatic Sales leader to drive Premium Programmatic revenue growth. The Premium Programmatic Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire new clients, expand existing accounts, and achieve revenue targets. This role requires a strategic thinker and a doer with a deep understanding of programmatic advertising technologies, strong sales acumen, teamwork, and excellent communication skills. 

This role starts with rolls-up-the-sleeve selling so we are looking for a player-coach. If the revenue grows, the team can grow.

The impact you'll make:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to smash revenue targets and maximize market penetration in the programmatic advertising space.
  • Work with Direct sales to Identify and prioritize key target accounts and verticals, and develop tailored sales strategies to engage and acquire new clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies, trading desks, DSPs, SSPs, and other relevant partners to drive business growth.
  • Lead the sales team in prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, providing guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Ops, Partnerships, Yield mgmt & Product to ensure seamless execution and Customer delight.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and keep the company ahead of the curve.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Mentor and coach sales team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

What you've accomplished:

  • Proven track record of success in programmatic advertising sales, with at least 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role. Someone who thrives and succeeds in an environment with quarterly revenue goals.
  • Expert in Programmatic who can educate throughout the organization and clients.
  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, ad exchanges, and data providers.
  • A strong network of contacts within the Programmatic advertising industry, including relationships with key decision-makers at agencies, brands, and technology partners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and compellingly.
  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset, capable of developing and executing innovative sales strategies to drive business growth. Proactively comes up with and executes new ideas.
  • Leadership experience with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leader who can learn and teach, lifting everyone around them.
