Our team is made up of 150+ passionate individuals (known as core-contributors) from around the world. We care deeply about our mission and our primary focus is on delivering the mission - and we try to give our core-contributors the freedom to complete their work to do so.
What are we building?
We are building the tools and infrastructure for the advancement of a secure, private, and open web3. Our core app, Status, is an open source, Ethereum-based app that gives users the power to chat, transact, and access a revolutionary world of DApps on the decentralized web. With the high level goals of preserving the right to privacy, mitigating the risk of censorship, and promoting economic trade in a transparent, open manner, Status is building a community where anyone is welcome to join and contribute. Why work with us?
🏢 We are entirely remote - you’re free to work from wherever you like. Depending on circumstances, we may be able to provide you with up to 250 Euros per month to cover the cost of a co-working space.
💰 You’ll receive a competitive base salary (our pay ranges are posted on the job descriptions).
💹 You’ll also receive an allocation of SNT (Status Network Tokens) to give you a real stake in the success of the organisation. These typically vest over a three year period.

Note: We don’t offer traditional benefits like medical/dental insurance - we’d rather pay you well and give you the freedom to select your own benefits, on your terms. Depending on your location (you’re free to work from wherever you like) we’ll hire you as a contractor.
