The Head of Social Media defines our social media strategy and how our content is creatively delivered to our audiences across our local and global social media channels. Our brand is our North Star, meaning that the social strategy will be highly reflective of our Brand purpose and identity.
Our goal is to have the most compelling creative experience through organic and promotional social first content, copy and community management and to connect our following (fans) to our brand. This role is grounded in achieving creative excellence to help fans engage with something they love.
The Head of Social Media role is an editorial brand marketing leadership role that oversees global social media channels and guides our local Social Media Teams across 16+ Hub locations who own their own local social channels. This role sits in the Brand & Content team and you’d be working closely with key stakeholders: Comms, Marketing and our in-house Studio Team. This role will include owning the social strategy, guidelines, social content productions, post publication, reporting and social media agency management.
The Brand & Content team focuses on driving brand awareness via high engagement and positive sentiment on our social and owned channels, which ultimately leads to drive positive business impact.

What You'll Do
- Function as an editorial chief of social media content. Own the social strategy, social media style guide, the creative and production budget and allocation of resources to meet all needs and deliverables.
- This role will have the responsibility of managing regional social media managers as well as guiding interns.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to creatively direct and produce compelling creative assets.
- Driving milestones of the social strategy and creative output.
- You will own and lead the global social media strategy, ensuring measurable brand as well as commercial objectives and KPI’s.
- You will leverage your own concept and copywriting (fluent UK English) skills to guide social content within brand tone of voice and social media style guide.
- You guide local teams by managing and implementing strategy, criteria and guidelines, and help identifying opportunities to push excellent social output.
- You will manage creative agency relationships and our tooling agencies to ensure top quality content, met KPIs and budget
- You will oversee community management strategy and quality of global and local social media channels.
- You will conduct regular social listening across social channels to gain insights into how customers are discussing TSH brand on social media and provide a feedback loop to broader stakeholders. In addition, you will conduct regular audience analysis to generate insights into who our followers are on our social channels and who else they follow (i.e. their affinities). You’ll also define social channels fit with existing target audiences and identify potential new demographics to target.
Who You Are
- You have 7+ years of international social strategy, creative production, and creative people management experience.
- You use both the left and right brain equally and have a personality and skill set that can easily go from art to science and back again.
- You know how to make people care and talk about brands.
- You know how to establish pr-able brand pieces, collaborations, and activations.
- You know how to become part of the top 3 hospitality brands in social media.
- You have a dynamic mix of strategic, highly creative and analytical skills with a strong and proven social media track record
- You have a deep understanding of brand communication and organic social media marketing and understand the value of authentic relationship building via social media channels.
- You have strong stakeholder management skills with experience working in an international and fast-paced matrix organization.
- You are a self-starter that seeks and provides context versus control.
- You thrive well working in a team and with people as much as you love a digital environment.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken), Dutch, German, Spanish and/or Italian is a plus
