About The Role
You will drive the strategy and execution of our Lifecycle channels to deliver an exceptional experience for customers. Working closely with other functional teams, you’ll develop deep knowledge and expertise in the consumer funnel in order to improve how we communicate with our customers. In this role you’ll have a close partnership with technical and product teams, as well as brand and marketing teams to ensure that our brand voice and design elements carry through consistently throughout lifecycle flows across all customer touch points (Email, SMS, etc.).
How You'll Make an Impact:
- You will lead efforts throughout the entire customer journey—from acquisition and retention, to loyalty, advocacy, and expansion via A/B testing and conversion rate optimization to drive growth and retention for the target subscription customer segment.
- Identify and define user segments based on behavior and engagement metrics, allowing for personalized marketing initiatives.
- Drive email & SMS marketing campaigns to engage and convert target audiences, optimizing message content, timing, and segmentation to achieve high open and click-through rates.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities within the customer funnel.
- Monitor and measure key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring widespread awareness and regular reporting across the organization.
- Leverage CRM data to drive a personalized and contextual experiences to increase customer retention.
- Drive continuous improvement across email KPIs including deliverability, engagement rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue.
- Manage reporting requests and ongoing analyses for campaign performance, key insights, and strategic learnings.
- Develop segmentation strategies that enhance targeting and personalization, collaborating with data and analytics teams to build necessary models.
- Collaborate closely with technical stakeholders to align technical requirements with business objectives.
- Drive the development of data tools and dashboards, enabling precise KPI measurement for Lifecycle Marketing and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and facilitate the resolution of CRM platform issues, expediting requests from across the organization.
- Uphold high standards for marketing, creative, and copy in all Lifecycle programs.
- Craft and refine messaging within lifecycle campaigns to emphasize the distinctive features of various product offerings.
- Maintain a relentless focus on creative testing (e.g., images, copy, CTAs), establishing a feedback loop to optimize results with the creative team.
We're Excited About Your:
- Over 5 years of email marketing expertise, encompassing campaign strategy, messaging, segmentation, lifecycle optimization, and A/B or multivariate testing.
- Proficiency in a contemporary CRM platform, demonstrated by a track record of successful multi-channel, multi-touch campaigns.
- A metrics-driven mindset, with the ability to frame project work within a business impact context and the skill to share this perspective across the team.
- A talent for balancing short-term accomplishments with long-term goals, foreseeing the enduring effects of immediate gains and incorporating this foresight into the roadmap.
- Adept at managing complexity while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, all while keeping sight of the broader picture and valuing incremental progress over perfection.
- Experience in data analysis and manipulation using tools to derive meaningful insights.
- Strong technical acumen and a foundational understanding of CRM and email tools and systems.
- Previous involvement in subscription-based businesses or those with diverse revenue streams (new and returning) is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- A "no task too big or too small" mentality, reflecting your willingness to tackle any challenge with enthusiasm and determination.
The estimated base salary for this role is 130-150k, subject to candidate experience.
