We're in search of a Shuttle Driver who will provide a positive and safe customer-centric experience to transportation services for a student housing community near a local University.

Responsibilities
- Creates an environment of safety for our residents and passengers.
- Drives passengers to and from the local University while following a set schedule and route.
- Inspects the shuttle(s) daily and records necessary repairs and maintenance. Informs the General Manager of needed services and repairs.
- Follows all traffic laws and posted speed limits, even at the expense of arriving late to a destination.
- Reports any unsafe conditions or road hazards to the General Manager.
- Maintains a ridership log throughout each shift.
- Cleans and organizes the shuttle.
- Takes shuttle to get washed and gets the required repairs completed.
- Maintains parts and supplies inventory, as authorized.
- Assists in snow removal at property, as required.
- Maintains required property uniform and presents a professional appearance and attitude.
- Uses appropriate tools and equipment.

Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and safe driving record are mandatory
- Depending on the size of the shuttle bus, drivers may need to get a commercial license with a passenger endorsement.
- 1 to 2 years of experience driving a shuttle is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety procedures with a safety conscious attitude, record of punctuality and dependability, and flexible schedule to accommodate after hour and weekend needs.
- Demonstrates a sensitivity and understanding of the diverse population of residents and employees. Follows the company’s non-harassment and inclusion policies.
- Maintains professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must have the stamina to sit for several hours at a time, and the hand-foot-eye coordination to operate a vehicle while watching their surroundings.
