Scion is paving a path in student living and we’re seeking a Talent Management Specialist to join us in executing our vision. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and maintaining key talent management initiatives, including managing our annual performance review process, administering employee experience surveys, and driving action planning to enhance employee engagement.
This position is based at Scion's Chicago headquarters, with the flexibility to work remotely one day a week and reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution of employee performance programs, including coordinating timelines, procedures, and data collection efforts across all departments to maximize participation and accuracy.
- Administer and manage employee assessments and performance cycles, including pre-hire assessments, employee experience surveys, action planning, and performance reviews. This involves building and testing assessments in systems like Lattice and Qualtrics EX, preparing training materials and communications, troubleshooting issues, and providing status updates.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to employee performance, such as pre-hire assessment outcomes, employee engagement survey results, action plan completion rates, and performance review data.
- Conduct follow-up interviews and focus groups when needed to gather additional insights and context for improving talent management initiatives.
- Participate in the Employee Recognition program, coordinating the review committee and ensuring an equitable and efficient process for recognizing outstanding performance.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership based on analysis of talent management programs, helping shape decisions related to employee engagement and performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize talent management tools, processes, and reporting.
- Facilitate training and support for managers and employees regarding the use of talent management platforms and the interpretation of performance data.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in talent management, organizational development, or a related HR role.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to track, report, and interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and reliability
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
