ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will report to the Head of FP&A and be responsible for a range of FP&A areas, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and other ad-hoc financial projects. You will be expected to work closely with other members of the finance team, as well as the broader business, to support decision-making and drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the budgeting process and lead the monthly reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results to senior management.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, forecasting, and business analysis.
- Analyze key performance metrics and drivers of financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards to track and monitor KPIs and other metrics.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial support and guidance for key strategic initiatives and projects.
- Ensure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Chartered Accountant from a recognised accounting professional body
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in start-ups or scale-ups, with experience in SaaS metrics.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems, as well as advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Planning tools (Anaplan) is a plus
