This position sits within the Room Membership team whose role is to build and maintain a powerful community of the World’s Top Tech Talent. As a Talent Agent, you will be at the core of The ROOM’s impact. While managing a portfolio of 200 Talent, composed of people in product, design, engineering, and other functional areas within tech, you will build one on one relationships and get to know them on a personal level to help them access the most exciting and career propelling opportunities. From employment, exciting projects, and mentorship, to access to the newest technology, your role will be to get to know your members to design a tailored experience that will accelerate their development journey and impact in the community.

This role is a dynamic one that will challenge you to exercise a broad set of skills on a daily basis.

On one day you might find yourself playing the role of a headhunter to grow the community by finding, attracting, vetting and onboarding world-class tech talent. While on the next, you will need to show up as a forward thinker and innovator who can easily connect the dots between members’ aspirations and The ROOM’s offerings, looking for relevant opportunities and pitching your talent to clients.

You will also be an internal and external community builder; You will be at the forefront of many organisational interdependencies and will work closely with other internal teams to ensure streamlined communication lines and processes are in place. You will also actively drive member engagement to help build a strong community by facilitating a dialogue between them.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to display creativity, innovation, thoughtfulness, your customer-centred spirit and sales skills by designing a highly personalised experience that delights your members throughout the year. You will also be in charge of developing feedback loops capturing relevant information to continuously improve member experience and the quality of service delivered; while also ensuring the quality and performance of your selected members remain of high standards.


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 to 15 years of work experience in executive search, talent acquisition, talent management or community management focused on Tech
  • Experience recruiting in the tech space (in house for a tech company or for a tech-focused recruitment agency) is a plus
  • Exposure to candidate experience and management
  • Highly skilled and confident communicator  - to efficiently persuade clients and coach members
  • Assured decision-maker - to confidently support and advise members
  • Efficient multi-tasker - to stay on top of many competing needs and demands
  • Creative thinker and good problem-solver - to cope with frequently shifting priorities and unexpected tasks
  • Exceptionally organised and efficient - to keep on top of your workload

This is a remote position that can be based in Europe, Africa, North America and Latin America.
