At Therma° we are combating climate change by building the smart cold chain. We’re a mission-driven team of experienced entrepreneurs, engineers, and food industry professionals creating IoT-powered technology that ensures safety and sustainability, from farm to fork.
As a Communications Intern, you will be responsible for working closely with the Marketing Director and the marketing team to enhance the Therma° brand. Your role will include building out social platforms that connect Therma° with influencers, translating social media trends into high-performing content, and coordinating with our PR agency on press opportunities. Gaining exposure across various marketing disciplines, you will develop a communications strategy, create engaging social content, and analyze its performance across climate technology and restaurant industries.
This role reports to the Marketing Director and is based out of our United States Headquarters located in San Francisco, CA (remote PST time zone during Covid-19 pandemic).
- Enrolled in an accredited university as a full-time student, currently pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree
- Academic or prior work experience with marketing communications
- Fluent in social media including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Clubhouse
- Experience creating engaging social content, including images and short videos
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience building and maintaining social media channel(s), preferably within a business context
