Who We’re Looking for:

As the Senior User Experience Designer, Mobile you will lead the design of our mobile app experiences. This role will be influential in driving the evolution of our digital experiences while instilling a strong user-first design practice that emphasizes hypothesis driven experiments and rapid iteration based on research, data, and customer feedback. You will partner closely with the product, engineering, customer experience, brand, and data teams across the company to create thoughtful and intuitive designs that help our users make the most out of our industry-leading products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the UX/UI experience for the mobile app and ensure a consistent experience across the entire Therabody ecosystem
  • Partner with product and engineering from ideation through execution to develop thoughtful user flows, wireframes, prototypes and design specs that elegantly solve customer problems.
  • Act as the UX/UI thought leader by advocating for best practices and partnering with the brand creative team to create a cohesive visual identity and design 
  • Be a relentless advocate of the user – champion their needs, understand their motivations, and ensure users remain at the center of the solutioning process.
  • Define and lead a user research pipeline informed by data in order to gain a deep understanding of the Therabody consumer and inform the roadmap.
  • Lead ideation workshops to identify new opportunities and generate solutions.
  • Manage the design book of work and partner with product to balance tradeoffs while maximizing impact for users and the business.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure in-flight work meets your design specifications and participate in agile ceremonies.

The Right Person Would Have:

  • 5+ years experience with UX/UI design with a focus in consumer apps – prior experience with consumer hardware and data visualization is a plus.
  • You have a passion for the health and wellness industry and want to use technology to impact lives for the better.
  • Experience leading projects across the product lifecycle and ability speak to impact customer and business goals.
  • Track record of leading design projects, including giving direction to internal and external designers.
  • You are a player-coach – you can pivot from product strategy to detailed design and development discussions seamlessly.
  • Collaborative, low-ego approach and ability to engage in stakeholder conversations while moving at a fast pace.
  • Expert in Figma (or similar tools), prototyping, design systems, and agile development methodologies
  • Experience running user testing and developing low fidelity stimuli to validate hypotheses.
  • Skilled in delivering c-suite presentations and driving consensus amongst stakeholders.
