Who we’re Looking for:

Therabody is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our growing Operations department.  This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining demand plans for all assigned products or regions.  In a collaborative process, you will be responsible for developing forward forecasts in a S&OP/SIOP process working with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance and Customers.  You will also be responsible for supporting the development and improvement of systems and tools used to collect, format and analyze data to develop and publish forecasts. The role will also be focused in supporting an efficient and successful end to end planning process. You will manage the planning process to meet and ensure data integrity and continually improve forecast accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and build demand plans on a SKU/week level for assigned accounts
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities. 
  • Measure and report forecast accuracy
  • Run weekly planning meetings with cross-functional partners to align demand forecasts utilizing aggregated historical sales, seasonality and customer sales forecasts for reference
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to integrate market intelligence into the forecasts
  • Lead initiatives to improve forecast accuracy
  • Monitor and report on significant variances between sales forecasts, budgets and business plans
  • Ensure that the sales forecasting systems are used effectively
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the sales forecasting processes
  • Provide input to the development of inventory policies and parameters
  • Monitor SKU trends and make recommendations to EOL existing items and introduce new technologies
  • Ad hoc analysis as required by management

The Right Person Would Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or supply chain 
  • 3+ years of direct work experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain/Inventory Planning 
  • Systems and Tools: Proficient in the Microsoft Office software programs, with excellent skills in Excel.  (Power BI Preferred)
  • General knowledge of MRP planning systems or aptitude to learn technical applications quickly.  (Oracle NetSuite Preferred)
  • Self-Starter, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Presentation Skills:  Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Good problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into results driving actions.
  • Analytic Skills: Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Collaboration: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
