Who We’re Looking for: 

Reset by Therabody is looking for an Assistant Manager to develop and uphold an environment where a world-class team of brand ambassadors are empowered and supported to deliver market leading engagement with each of our guests. Our location serves as a connection point for our current and future community where we drive brand immersion, deliver impactful engagement, and build community.  We’re looking for an amazing leader that has the ability to create, train and inspire their team through an inclusive and collaborative work environment; always empowering the team to learn, grow, and go the extra mile.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience 

  • Manage appointments and walk-ins on a regular basis 
  • Deliver all non-medical services to clients with exceptional knowledge of the technology and great customer service
  • Cultivate a unique, fun, and seamless Customer Experience 
  • Educate team, customers and partners on products and services 
  • Assist with membership cancellation, freeze, billing and other requests

Sales and Marketing Performance 

  • Play an active role in the community and spearhead business development and partnership opportunities while staffing events
  • Brainstorm and implement grassroots marketing initiatives and track and evaluate results
  • Achieve store sales goals and other financial targets 
  • Keep the team motivated and on track with store sales targets
  • Assist with P&L responsibility, identify/execute opportunities to reduce costs, and generate revenue 
  • Play an active role in driving revenue to Reset both personally and by leveraging the team

Team Management 

  • Assist with hiring, training, nurturing, and leading a world-class service and retail team 
  • Have a passion for seeking opportunities to educate, inspire, empower, and mobilize your team for their professional growth and to serve the consumer to the highest standard 
  • Serve as a liaison between Therabody headquarters and the store team to ensure a deep sense of connection to the company and brand, as well as to foster a seamless flow of communication
  • Assure store operational hours and event participation are not negatively impacted by both planned for and unpredicted staff time off

Stock and Inventory Management 

  • Assist with communicating with headquarters to ensure inventory meets the needs of the business 
  • Assist with ensuring accurate and efficient receipt, transfer and inventory of all goods between our store and warehouse through trackable inventory logs 
  • Assist with managing consumables inventory to ensure no impact on service delivery/customer experience 

Store Operations 

  • Maintain operation of all POS functions to ensure accurate store reporting and accounting 
  • Assist in managing any facilities issues as they arise while controlling operational costs including monitoring equipment, notifying HQ when issues do pop up, and coordinating solves for those issues
  • Ability to track, monitor and enforce all equipment safety and cleanliness procedures

The Right Person Would Have

  • An eagerness to grow personally and professionally while helping a global, industry-leading company successfully grow a brand new line of business
  • 1+ years in an assistant management or supervisor type role, preferably at a start-up within a luxury, wellness or fitness brand
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • A talent for managing and developing a cohesive team
  • The ability to lead a team to achieve financial, operational and customer service goals
  • Familiarity within the high-tech wellness innovation space
  • A current certification from ACSM, NASM, ACE, or applicable university degree (i.e. Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, etc.) is preferred but not required
  • The ability to lift boxes up to 50lbs
  • The ability and willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
  • Unparalleled enthusiasm for helping others take control of their wellness and health
  • An analytical eye to think of new ways to improve current processes
