The Orchard is seeking a manager-level account manager to join our Spotify team in a pivotal role focused on US territory priority releases and their integration with Spotify. In this full-time position, you'll collaborate closely with your team lead to master the art of successful pitching, delve into retail strategy intricacies, utilize data tools to highlight engaged audiences, and champion Spotify within our organization. This role is a gateway to honing relationship-building skills vital for driving artist and label projects and fostering growth within the ever-evolving DSP landscape.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with your team lead to identify priorities within Spotify and pitch all priority Orchard releases weekly while tracking success and providing comprehensive campaign recaps blending analytics and marketing insights.
  • Work with labels and internal departments to ensure artist and label plans and assets are optimized for sales and marketing opportunities within your account base.
  • Participate in meetings and calls, contributing knowledgeable insights regarding your assigned account base, including account pitch meetings, sales team calls, and label presentations.
  • Drive new business initiatives within Spotify to maximize artist exposure, including content/ editorial, marketing, partnership, reporting, and day-to-day initiatives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships across Spotify and internally to maximize opportunities for The Orchard's artists and labels.
  • Share best practices and developments with internal and external teams, keeping relevant resource documents updated for Spotify.
  • Regularly attend shows and develop/maintain social relationships with your account base.

Who you are

  • At least 3+ years of experience in music partnership management.
  • Knowledge of music streaming platforms and digital account pitch process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines, prioritize & motivate partners.
  • An independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a keen understanding of business dynamics, thriving in high-pressure settings.
