Responsibilities:
- Develop both production-level and ad hoc technical solutions for data analysis, simulation, scraping, and warehousing to support mortgage risk analytics projects.
- Utilize and enhance existing Oakleaf products and tools (such as ETL, data scraping, damage calculations, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal and external users / clients to analyze business requirements and convert the requirements to technical solutions.
Qualifications:
- Strong, well-rounded programming skills to develop production-level data processing tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to debug complex software programs.
- Nice-to-have skills: Python, Java, C++, SAS, R, VBA, and / or SQL experience.
- Ability and initiative to work independently and on a team to meet project goals.
- Understanding of mortgage loan data, particularly loan performance and mortgage servicing data.
- Bachelors or Advanced Degree in computer science, information systems, or relevant analytical / engineering disciplines.
- 5+ years software development experience.
