Job Overview: 

The Social Media Manager is responsible for creating, executing, and managing result-driven social media strategies for our clients. You’re an expert in all things social; you have a highly analytical mind, you can identify critical social insights out of platform-specific data analysis, and most important, you don’t accept the status quo.

We’re looking for an ambidextrous marketer; you have the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side. Your curiosity and love of social media means you’re always learning the next big thing. You're a creative solution provider that can look at a set of assets and find a way to implement them a dozen different ways using your social tactic toolbox.


  • Monitor and keeps a pulse on competitor landscape, latest social media trends, and platform updates/best practices.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities for our Client’s brand to be part of relevant social conversations through content management and audience engagement.
  • Inspire our creative team, always striving to develop brilliant social content for our clients.
  • Research, develop, and schedule and complete monthly content calendars on time.
  • Establish professional, Client-facing communications during approval and activation phases.
  • Collaborate with internal team in social media campaign-building; Overseeing day-to-day social activities for an automotive parts & service industry client.
  • Collaborate with TMA’s Media team to develop and execute paid amplification; monitoring asset optimization, flighting, and allocated media spend.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics. You’ll will work closely with our analytics team to develop the reporting of Client’s social media performance.


    • Bachelors in Marketing, Advertising, Visual Communications or Journalism (Or equivalent experience).
    • Three to five years of experience in social media marketing (social/content strategy development for regional or national clients).
    • Attention to detail in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
    • Have solid familiarity with the most current and relevant social metrics.
    • Familiarity with social auditing process at brand and competitor landscape level.
    • Understands basic parameters of the social listening process (key-terms, audience/demo selection, exclusions, KPIs, etc).
    • Understands the fundamentals of influencer marketing.
    • Have familiarity with misc. presentation software such as G-Slides, Keynote, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Data Studio.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; meet deadlines and be proactive when dealing with ad-hoc content requests (Publishing/Optimization).
    • Understands the need always to keep learning about the ever-changing social media landscape.

Bonus Points if You:

    • Hold at least one relevant certification (i.e., Google Partner, Hubspot, Blueprint, Udemy, Hootsuite Academy, etcetera)
    • Interest/familiarity in sports and/or auto a definite plus. The account activates in the College Football, NASCAR, and NBA spaces.
