We are currently seeking a Content Strategist with community management experience to add to our Irvine, CA team. The selected candidate will support US communications for a growing health supplements brand. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital and social marketing communications and have a strong curiosity for the health and wellness space. You will be responsible for helping to make the brand’s social presence best-in-class in their competitive space in terms of reputation, growth, engagement, innovation and quality.
Content Strategy & Development
Creation and management of content calendars
Coordination with copywriter and art director for concepting, copywriting, content planning, photography, etc.
Rich media asset management
Create, manage, and optimize content plans for media moments and ad-hoc content needs
Develop hashtag strategies, consumer engagement strategies, and other ad-hoc recommendations as needed
Collaborate with influencer team to identify relevant social influencers to partner with
Supports and collaborates with account Strategy Director and Account Services Team
Daily management of social properties: Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest
Monitor and moderate incoming and outgoing social activity on owned channels
Provide daily customer service and 1:1 engagement with fans and influencers
Track platform updates, tools, and new products & services
Implement paid social media and post boosting
Optimize content towards campaign objectives and KPIs
Analyze and provide content learnings post-campaign
Own monthly internal and external performance reports and competitive analysis
Collaborate with analytics team on social listening reports and social conversation tracking
Share out content analysis and learnings
Training & Education
Creation of how-to guides for client and team as needed
Draft and provide POVs as needed
Research and draft case studies as needed
Go-to expert on client’s “Tone & Voice”
Participate in campaign planning brainstorms
Collaborate with creative team throughout content development
Provide strategic feedback on creative during planning and development
Collaborate with account copywriter for daily content needs
At least 1-2 years of community management experience required
At least 2-3 years of content management experience required
Communications, Marketing, Business majors preferred
Strong command and knowledge of major and emerging social media platforms
Ability to apply creative vision to complex subject matter
Extremely organized and resourceful
Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, prioritize multiple simultaneous deliverables
Must be a team player and exhibit a high-level of personal responsibility, commitment, and accountability
Proven ability to thrive under pressure, stay level-headed, and meet tight deadlines. Strong and effective decision-making skills
Able to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
