The Information is seeking a human resources and operations associate to scale and support our growing team. As a leading digital news startup, our editorial, product and business teams are expanding quickly and globally. This individual will be responsible for maintaining excellent service and support for our employees while ensuring our operations across the company run smoothly, at greater and greater scale. 

This is a key role at the center of a fast-growing global startup. You will be responsible for coordinating a range of service providers, hiring new ones and being a go-to resource across our 50-person company.

Responsibilities include

  • Ensuring employee onboarding is seamless via coordination of a range of providers and close coordination with The Information managers and office property management
  • Internal communications to employees around hiring, benefits, company policies and instructions and office management
  • Overseeing IT and technical staff support resources, from laptops to applications
  • Overseeing office real estate portfolio and related contracts and service providers
  • Other corporate operations matters like insurance 

Candidates requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Be exceptionally organized and able to balance a range of tasks simultaneously
  • Be deeply patient and a good listener
  • Highly detail oriented 
  • Familiarity with software tools like Rippling, Expensify, Greenhouse, Zoom
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills  
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Unquestionable integrity
