Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated self-starter with polished communication skills who is looking to grow your sales career. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and closing leads into new business revenue. You’ll have mentorship to grow your sales acumen, a direct impact in shaping our B2B strategy, and a new level of insight into the tech ecosystem via our insightful reporting.

You will:

  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a monthly basis
  • Balance engaging with inbound leads and developing prospects through outbounding
  • Develop and maintain relationships with accounts in your book of business
  • Track all opportunity and customer details in Salesforce

You will have:

  • 2+ years of sales experience through a combination of being a Sales Development Representative and Account Executive
  • A proven track record of success prospecting for new business
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, competitive spirit, tons of curiosity, and comfort iterating quickly
  • A passion for technology and knowledge of the technology ecosystem
  • Confidence engaging with senior business leaders and building rapport
  • An ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

You will ideally have:

  • 1-2+ years of full cycle sales experience; software/technology sales experience preferred
  • Experience balancing a mix of transactional and strategic sales
  • Enterprise prospecting experience
  • An appreciation for quality, independent, investigative journalism
  • A Bachelor’s Degree
