At The Infatuation, the Partnerships & Sales team touches nearly every department at the company, integrating with the editorial, social, marketing, creative, and product teams. As our business and team have grown, so have the size of our programs, making planning, management, and communication of our inventory a massive priority. We're ready to hire our first ever Sales Planner, and the role will include everything from owning media plans and managing our calendar, to communicating important details to other internal teams.

We're looking for a motivated and self-directed Sales Planner, who will be the backbone of all campaign planning and inventory. This hire will be responsible for plans and pricing, while keeping in consideration the needs of internal production teams. This role will report to our Partnerships Strategy Director and sit within the larger Partnerships & Sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the creation and management of all of our media plans, partnering closely with sellers and pre-sales Strategists
  • Develop a strong understanding of The Infatuation’s  sellable products - guides, events, social, stories, newsletter, display, etc.
  • Manage an internal master calendar mapping all sold-in or likely campaigns
  • Serve as the point-person for the tracking of all inventory and scheduled media placements or events
  • Lead communications across the Partnerships department and with other teams to ensure that all branded content and events align with company initiatives and editorial timelines
  • Monitor media for pacing, delivery, and relay important information to our Account Managers
  • Take over ad operations (currently outsourced) to manage DFP, our display inventory, and implement all tags and assets from agencies and brands
  • Maintain company rate card and pricing models for all sell-able assets

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in a Media Planning position
  • Experience working with custom, integrated campaigns that may include a mix of: social media, events, activations, branded content, and newsletter inclusions (we don’t do programmatic)
  • Top notch communication skills - you’ll be interacting with multiple teammates and stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Ability to drive and maintain process
  • Expert level Excel skills
  • Proficient in DFP
