The Operations Training Team liberates learning across THE ICONIC Fulfilment Centre Operations Team. We work with various stakeholders to help document their processes to drive efficiencies and consistency across Operations while also designing and delivering training in various ways to cater for all learning styles and accessibility preferences.

A bit about the role …

Reporting to the Process Excellence Manager, the Operations Training Specialist is responsible for collaboratively planning, and developing training content, programs and SOPs designed to equip employees with the knowledge and skills they need to perform their jobs effectively. This role works closely with other members of the Operations training team along with Operations Teams to deliver training according to the agreed schedule & ensure that all employees are provided with a great learning experience. 

What you will do

  • Design content and develop existing and new training materials and tools, particularly to support with OWMS roll-out
  • Design and govern cross-training methods that enable the business to maintain a high performing, cross-skilled workforce
  • Review Training materials (SOPs, Work Instructions, One Point Lessons) with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to adapt training to diverse audiences
  • Ensure standardisation of training creation, continuous updates, and version control
  • Measure, assess, and report on operational training 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure existing and newly created training and quality assurance practices are conducive and adherent with FC (Fulfilment centre), WHS (Workplace health and safety) and other operational functions.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience in developing and delivering content for adult training programs.
  • Experience documenting and training on operational processes 
  • Passionately looking to leverage adult learning knowledge and take it to the next level in an Operations environment
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously, from needs assessment to evaluation. This involves setting timelines, monitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes
  • Ability to understand different learning styles and learning abilities based on stakeholder needs. 
  • Fluent in e-learning design software.
  • Capable of developing learning plans and strategies and implementing them.
  • Strong stakeholder management
