Job Summary:

The Settlement & Booking Coordinator will support the ticketed and private events at Amerant Bank Arena and the FTL War Memorial. This position will assist the Sr Director of Finance with settlements for events at both venues as well as supporting the SVP of Programming with venue availability to clients and promoters. In addition, they will handle the contracting process and insurance tracking for concerts and private events. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of excel, understand profit & loss statements and a passion for the music/concert industry.  


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and execute night of show settlements for our concerts and private events.
  • Preparation of post-show flash reports to determine event profitability.
  • Communicate and coordinate with various departments on event related expenses and revenues.
  • Flexibility with work hours.  Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the concerts and events schedule.
  • Compile, draft and track use agreements for ticketed and private events.
  • Request, review and track certificates of insurance for ticketed and private events.
  • Assist Sr Director of Finance Live Entertainment.
  • Assist SVP Live Entertainment as requested.
  • Assist in development of event proformas as requested.
  • Send promoters and agents venue availability as needed and directed.
  • Prepare documents for settlement as needed for Sr. Director of Finance.
  • Work with all departments to maximize revenue and minimize expenses at Amerant Bank Arena and War Memorial.
  • Additional projects, tasks and events assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:                          

Supervise collection of event related expenses and accounting as well as oversight of contracts and insurance certificates for ticketed and private events.


Qualifications:

  • A four year bachelor degree
  • 1 year of experience in venues, concert production and/or event management preferred
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of excel
  • Harding working, ability to multi task and work long hours including weekends.
  • Passion to work in the live entertainment industry.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an exempt (salary) position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for events. Ability to travel between venues for events.
