We’re seeking a dynamic, creative influencer to capture and present our creativity, knowledge, and narratives that matter through short-form mobile videos. As a proven creator, influencer, media enthusiast, or leader, you will seek out like-minded people to build The Doe’s brand awareness on TikTok, representing our mission to improve civil discourse. 

Most of your days will be spent creating fresh video content for the TikTok account and iterating quickly to maximize reach and growth. You will lean into all aspects of TikTok by curating other relevant videos, responding to and recording replies to comments, and interacting with other accounts. Each day presents a new challenge. How can you participate in new and exciting trends? How do we respond to world circumstances? What value do we bring to our audience on TikTok? As our TikTok influencer, you will address these questions and facets with the goal of shaping the brand experience and building a community on TikTok.



  • Location: Remote
  • Status: Full-Time
  • Hours: Can commit to hours around the 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. MST time frame
  • Eligible to work in the United States


  • 1+ years experience in a video making position
  • 1+ years experience running and managing a personal or brand TikTok account
  • Proficiency in using and leveraging of all of TikTok's features
  • Passionate about civil discourse and bursting media bubbles
  • Embodiment of  the spirit of the TikTok community. 
  • Creative and experimental with concepts.
  • Ability to work independently as needed.
  • Organized and extremely detail-oriented.


  • Ideate and execute concepts for Tik Tok videos.
  • Collaborate with staff to make videos.
  • Spend approximately 20 hours a week on The Doe’s TikTok account, working to leverage the viral aspects of TikTok in order to grow brand awareness. 
  • Build a community of followers who recognize the value in independent journalism and underrepresented voices in media. 
  • Keep up with the latest trends.
  • Creative and experimental with concepts.
