The Baltimore Banner is looking for a Director of Digital Sales with a strategic vision, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in media-related sales. Responsibilities:

As the Director of Digital Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital sales efforts and achieving revenue goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the senior management team to develop digital sales strategies that align with our overall business objectives.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for digital sales initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation to drive results.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead a team of digital sales professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to drive their success promoting and selling digital assets.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Execute an overall business plan and sales strategy to achieve digital revenue goals, consistently meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in sales calls with Digital Media Representatives, ensuring client needs are understood and digital solutions are effectively communicated.
  • Innovative Solutions: Develop inventive strategies to meet clients' evolving requirements in the dynamic realm of digital marketing.
  • Additional Responsibilities: As necessary to contribute to the overall success of The Baltimore Banner.

 Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the media industry, specifically in sales roles related to digital platforms, with a proven track record in successful sales management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with contemporary internet technologies, including Social Media Advertising, Audience Targeting, and Paid Search.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Exceptional people skills and the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
