Who we are:

We’re a venture backed stealth startup transforming the way people communicate with each other. Our team includes former Product Managers from GoogleX, Tech Leads from Apple and PhDs from MIT Media Lab who are obsessed with helping people communicate more effectively. We are supported by the Allen Institute for AI and some of the biggest names in the tech industry. AI2’s incubator is backed by Madrona Venture Group, Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, and Two Sigma Ventures among others (details below).

About you:

We’re looking for someone hands-on and scrappy to lead our growth efforts at the intersection of product and marketing. You will develop and execute a strategy to acquire, activate, and retain users across the entire conversion funnel. You will also establish key growth performance indicators and implement tracking systems and tools. This role is the first hire on our marketing team and will require you to roll up your sleeves across digital marketing, A/B testing and cohort analysis, and customer discovery. Our ideal candidate is curious and loves uncertain environments with limited resources. We’re open to remote work setups but would prefer if you are based in the Greater Seattle area. 

Minimum key qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with SaaS marketing
  • Experience leading multi-channel digital marketing strategies and deep knowledge testing and scaling SEO,SEM, paid/organic social marketing, email, content marketing
  • You get excited about rapid experimentation around headlines, keywords and other factors that drive conversion.
  • Run A/B tests and cohort analyses, helping us inform our marketing, business and product decisions with data, and get excited about conversion rate optimization
  • Comfortable with Google Analytics, SQL querying and dashboarding
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, roll-up-your-sleeves, can do attitude 

Nice to have:

  • Growth marketing experience with B2B and B2C SaaS products
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Experience with marketing CRMs such as Salesforce or others
  • You’re looking to make the switch from engineering to marketing or vice versa
