About the role

The Senior Partner Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving growth by developing and executing marketing partner strategies. The role will focus on the Government Grant business and UK sector partnerships. You will be responsible for building partner programs and executing tailored communication campaigns to drive awareness and engagement to core audiences. 

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams & departments to ensure successful implementation of communications  and programs. This role requires high level communications and partner management experience.  

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute partner marketing strategy for UK Government Grant Sector: Create and implement a strategy tailored to Government Grant Sector commercial goals and stakeholders. Focusing on partnerships that support  acquisition and retention. 

Partner Strategy: 

Develop and implement a robust partnership strategy, including identifying key stakeholders, mapping relationships, and setting clear objectives aligned with commercial goals. 

Identify, plan and execute co-marketing partner campaigns to maximise commercial reach and impact. Working together to achieve mutual goals. 

Lead strategic external partnerships with government agencies in defining shared goals to maximise impact and associated marketing strategies.

Collaborate with key partners to co-marketing campaigns that resonate with audience and objectives. 

Negotiate and manage agreements ensuring they are mutually beneficial, measure performance and make recommendations to leadership. 

Proactively identify and address partner challenges by developing and implementing innovative marketing solutions.

Sector communications: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with business objectives in the Government grant sector. 

Sector communications: In partnership with content, brand and product teams ensure communications to the Government grant sector embodies Texthelp tone of voice, ensuring consistency across all channels. 

Events: Leading on events for high-level contacts (VIP, 3rd party or owned). Crafting a communications execution plan in line with key messages in the industry.  Including identifying speaker opportunities for internal and external stakeholders. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with brand, sales, content and product teams to create impactful messaging and positioning

Go-to-market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to communicate the launch of new products, grow sectors or integrate acquired brands. 

Budget Management: Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to develop and manage the marketing budget, allocate resources for optimal impact, and ensure budget compliance.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years proven experience in developing and implementing successful go to market partnership strategies
  • Proven track record of developing and executing communications campaigns including: messaging and narrative strategies for specific audiences
  • Proven track record of planning and executing leadership events for key decision makers and high level stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and challenges and develop effective solutions
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and the ability to measure and analyse campaign performance
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Desirable Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or communications
  • Experience in the Public sector or with government agencies 
  • Understanding of accessibility and executing inclusive marketing campaigns
  • Experience in using marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
