About the role
Working within the Workplace division, this role requires a results-focused individual with a can-do attitude; expected to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis to help achieve the division’s strategic goals. Working as part of a small dedicated team, you will be tasked with arranging a minimum set number of appointments per week for our Business Development Managers. This position will require a strong focus on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. Working closely with our Sales Team, you will manage follow-up of quality sales leads and undertake productive engagement with prospective customers across multiple channels. The role would be well suited to an individual looking to develop a career in Sales.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the sales teams have quality appointments by making outbound calls to qualified leads
- Conduct/perform prospecting activities including making cold calls, sending emails, delivering on social strategies, etc.
- Manage all business-related activities at the forefront of the sales process on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
- Qualify, nurture, manage and convert MQLs to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) using a
- systematic process developed through collaboration with sales and marketing leaders
- Explain Texthelp products to prospects including inbound marketing leads and outbound prospecting leads
- Perform sales presentations over the phone, web and in-person as needed
- Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
- Make effective use of CRM to track, assign, and qualify leads
- Maintain pipeline of prospects via Outreach Sales Enablement platform and achieve agreed targets of booked meetings for acquisition team
- Research and build database of contacts
- Accurately update and maintain internal records and systems
- Ensure the start of the customer journey reflects our business in a positive light
- Generate reports as required to track business metrics
- Applicants must be willing and able to undertake occasional travel as required for the role
Essential Criteria
- 1+ year of relevant sales experience (e.g., cold calling, lead nurturing, lead qualification)
- Proven record of consistently meeting assigned target goals and delivering outstanding customer sales experience, particularly via remote channels
- IT skills with experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office including Sheets or Excel
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with CRM systems, e.g. Sugar, Salesforce etc.
- Proven experience of leveraging social media platforms and an established network to build personal and company brand in a B2B environment e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good level of commercial acumen

- Third Level Qualification
- Experience of operating in a SaaS business environment
- Understanding and aptitude for digital products and services
