About the role

The Head of Brand plays a pivotal role in driving our company's success, executing the strategic vision from brand launch and beyond.  

You will be responsible for translating the new brand strategy into actionable plans and overseeing the detailed rollout of the brand identity. This ensures that the brand vision is effectively and consistently implemented across all channels and touchpoints - internally and externally. You will lead the creation and execution of brand campaigns that introduce and reinforce our brand to key audiences. This role is pivotal in launching our brand but also ensuring that it evolves in a way that supports the company’s future. 

Main Responsibilities

Brand Strategy: Lead on the implementation of the brand’s long-term strategy to ensure it aligns with the company’s goals, values, and vision. This includes positioning, messaging, and ensuring brand differentiation in the market.

Brand Campaigns & Communications: Lead the development and execution of brand activation campaigns. This includes working with creative teams on content and design and managing external agencies or partners.

Brand Rollout: Lead on the global rollout of the brand roadmap across all markets and touchpoints, working closely with key stakeholders in each locale. 

Brand Identity & Consistency: Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines including logos, colour schemes, tone of voice, and imagery, across all channels and touchpoints.

Market Research & Consumer Insights: Conduct and analyse market research to understand the target audience, trends, and competitors. Use this data to adapt the brand’s strategy and stay relevant.

Internal Brand Advocacy: Work closely with the People team on internal communications and brand campaigns. Promote brand values and culture internally, ensuring employees across all levels understand and live the brand. 

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product development, demand gen, sales, and customer service teams to ensure the brand message is effectively communicated and consistent across all customer interactions.

Public Relations & Media Relations: Provide input into how the brand’s reputation is managed in the public sphere. Liaise with colleagues to handle PR efforts, managing crisis communication, and ensuring the brand is portrayed positively in the media.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of branding efforts through key performance indicators (KPIs), such as brand awareness, customer loyalty, and market share, adjusting strategies as needed based on data insights.

Innovation & Growth: Continuously explore new ideas, platforms, and trends to keep the brand fresh and innovative, while ensuring growth in brand recognition and customer engagement.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Brand Management, Marketing or a related field. 
  • 3+ years proven experience in brand management with a proven track record in leading successful brand campaigns and strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability  to develop, articulate, and execute a clear, long-term brand vision and strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • Experience in crafting compelling brand stories that resonate with target audiences across various channels and platforms.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, email marketing, and advertising.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to leverage consumer insights, market research, and data to inform branding decisions and strategies.
  • Experience of working across departments such as product, sales, customer experience, and marketing to ensure brand alignment across all touchpoints.
  • Experience of managing budgets effectively and measuring the return on investment (ROI) of branding and marketing activities
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of how brand management can drive business growth, increase market share, and improve customer loyalty.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working for a SaaS business and using Agile methodologies
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Ability to manage the brand's public image, including navigating PR challenges and crises effectively.
