Essential Duties:

  • Coordinate and execute projects and change management initiatives that includes all aspects of project planning and monitoring. 
  • Guide project teams on how to use Agile SDLC and project processes, workflows, best practices and principles to drive and deliver high quality products and services. 
  • Facilitate and support project events such as, but not limited to: Project meetings, stakeholders review, project retrospectives. 
  • Collaborate and assist with project planning sessions. 
  • Facilitate cause mitigation meetings as needed.
  • Prioritize clear communications and ensure communication channel hygiene is high and effective between cross functional teams.
  • Identify and continually measure the complexity, effort, risk and uncertainty of project scopes.
  • Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards for stakeholder or management review. 
  • Work to bring resolution on escalated items and clear project impediments/blockers.
  • Proactively build and manage positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Commitment to NISC’s Statement of Shared Values.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred:

  • 5+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Agile, Information System Project Management and general project management best practices and theory.
  • Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful business conclusions relevant to Project Management.
  • Advanced level knowledge of business-related software applications and services.
  • Superior research and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Excellent ability to set and manage internal and external Member/Customer expectations.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior presentation and training skills.
  • Excellent telephone/email etiquette and an ability to deal effectively with Member/Customers.
  • Superior ability to demonstrate initiative and accountability.
  • Excellent ability to multitask and manage time.
  • Excellent ability to demonstrate professionalism.
  • Working level knowledge of change management best practices.
  • Ability to travel as often as necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the position.

  • Strong ability to mentor others.

Education Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
