The Quality Engineering Manager is a critical partner to our customers, leading teams on managed test automation delivery, ensuring critical timelines are met and value delivered. This specific role will be aligned with a strategic, global client and have a blend of deep hands on technical responsibilities and management of remote quality engineers.   • This role will report directly to Testlio’s VP, Global Media & Network. It will have high-level visibility and influence across the Testlio organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage a remote QE team deployed to a strategic client ensuring delivery excellence.
  • Create & implement quality engineering strategies aligned with Testlio’s recommended practices.
  • Use your extensive automation experience to challenge, recommend, and partner with our client to drive exceptional automated testing results. 
  • Ensure test automation standards and processes are aligned with client expectations and followed across QE teams.
  • Determine automated test script quality improvement factors and evaluate ongoing script reliability.
  • Deliver insights by collecting, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
  • Work closely with your Services peers and cross-functional colleagues to continually identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technology consulting, including developing test automation solutions
  • Minimum 4 years of quality engineering team management experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in native iOS and Android applications test automation
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
  • Exceptional hybrid approach of managing people and doing technical things
  • Ability to think fast, learn fast, and solve complex problems
  • Values alignment, including team orientation, inclusive approach, kindness concentration, challenger mindset, and drive to make an impact 
  • Experience with test frameworks JUnit, Espresso, and Roboelctric is a plus
  • Prior knowledge in test automation, automated testing, and CI/CD (Github, Jenkins).
  • Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Knowledge of Swift concepts (structs, optionals, generics, etc.)
  • Comfort using XCode, XCTest, and XCUITests 
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub
  • Knowledge of Android SDK (Activity, Fragments, Gradle, Jetpack Compose)
  • Proficiency in Kotlin
